Notice of Refusal to Carry

If you have committed misconduct on any previous service operated by Fullers360, and we are not satisfied that your misconduct will not reoccur, we may refuse to carry you, and you may be issued a Notice of Refusal to Carry or a Trespass notice.
Any threat, verbally or physically abusive, insulting or intimidating behaviour or words towards any Fullers360 staff, crew, bus drivers, contractors or any other person will not be tolerated, and we may refuse to carry you, and you may be issued a Notice of Refusal to Carry or a Trespass notice.
Notice of Refusal to Carry or the Trespass notice will set out the period of time the notice is effective from and to, and will be enforced on all Fullers360’s vessels, buses or other transport or areas within Fullers360 control.

Children

  • Parents or guardians are solely responsible for the behaviour of children in their care or under their supervision. Under no circumstances is Fullers360 responsible for the supervision or care of any child whether they are unaccompanied or travelling with their parent or guardian.
  • Fullers360 strongly recommend a parent or guardian accompany any child 5 to 15 years of age on all services. However, if this is not possible, the parent or guardian must ensure they complete Request for Carriage of Unaccompanied Child form for children between 5-15 years of age which may be travelling unaccompanied.
  • By allowing your child to travel unaccompanied, you acknowledge that the child will be able to follow crew safety instructions and act appropriately throughout the service. You also acknowledge that Fullers360 cannot and will not be responsible for the supervision or care of any unaccompanied child.
  • No child under 5 years of age may travel unaccompanied.
  • Fullers360 crew and staff have the right to refuse to carry any passenger they consider too young or not competent or fit to travel unaccompanied.
  • Fullers360 highly recommend unaccompanied children are dropped off and collected at ferry terminals by a parent, or guardian as some terminals are unattended.

  • The Coromandel service has limited space for bicycles and passengers must book a bicycle spot with their ticket.

Pets

Fullers360 welcomes dogs on our vessels providing they meet our criteria.

Dogs must be kept on a short leash while boarding and disembarking the vessel. Dogs can travel inside the cabin, but we ask that dogs are kept inside a suitable crate, cage or pet carrier:

  • This needs to be able to secure your dog to prevent them getting out.
  • It needs to have a leak proof base, be clean and well ventilated.
  • The crate must always be kept on the floor of the cabin .
  • Dogs are strictly not permitted on seats or tables.
  • The odour and/or behaviour of the dog should not impact other passengers e.g. excessive barking is considered inappropriate behaviour.
  • Disability Assist Dogs are welcome inside the cabin providing their owner or trainer can show appropriate documentation or identification. They’re exempt from travelling in cages/crates.
  • Owners are responsible for their dogs throughout the journey and are liable for any damage caused by their dog. Owners are expected to clean up after their dogs and be mindful of their behaviour towards other customers.
  • Owners will be fully responsible for their pets and must abide by all legislation and bylaws relating to their pets, and crew directions. Failure to follow instructions will mean the pet or dog will not be allowed to travel.
  • No animals, dogs or otherwise are permitted to travel on services to islands in the Department of Conservation Estate – Rangitoto, Motutapu, Motuihe, Rotoroa, Tiritiri Matangi, or the Harbour Cruise. However, fully trained and identifiable Disability Assist Dogs are allowed, please see DOC’s website for further information: http://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/know-before-you-go/dog-access/disability-assist-dogs/
  • Livestock is prohibited from travelling on all ferries and buses.
