  • Head to Auckland’s Downtown Ferry Terminal and board your Fullers360 ferry to Waiheke Island from piers 11 and 12.

  • During the 40-minute ferry journey, enjoy panoramic views of the city skyline, Devonport, Bean Rock and Rangitoto Island.

  • Upon arrival head to the Waiheke GO Rentals kiosk inside Matiatia Ferry Terminal where you’ll confirm your details and be given directions to the nearby car park to pick up your vehicle.

  • Enjoy using the car for the full day to explore the island’s incredible vineyards, restaurants, shops, art galleries, beaches, and nature walks.

  • When you’re ready to head back to downtown Auckland, return the car to Waiheke GO Rentals at Matiatia Ferry Terminal. Please allow 15 minutes to complete your car hire return and catch your desired Fullers360 sailing back to Auckland.

Terms and conditions

If you are travelling with others they will need to book Fullers360 ferry tickets to Waiheke Island. This package only includes one adult return ferry ticket.

Vehicle upgrades and extended hire periods are available, just ask at Waiheke GO Rentals team about their great deals.

Baby and booster seats are available for an added cost and can be arranged upon car pickup.

To rent a vehicle the following conditions must be met:

  • The car must be refuelled before returning.
  • For insurance purposes an imprint of your credit card will be taken. 
  • All drivers must be over the age of 21 years old, and Waiheke GO Rentals must see a full car driver’s license of every driver (any nationality is acceptable but must be in English).
